Looking for Sportkini women!

WOW!
I get great photos of women in Sportkinis!
I just love it!

For the month of February I will be posting Sportkini photos...and you will not believe where some of these photos are being taken, and of who!

I am collecting photos from today until the end of the month, so if you have a good shot, send it in: stephanie@zswimwear.com
or if you know someone who has a good shot...send it in!

Our community of gnarly athletic women, who are rugged yet elegant are amongst us, and for February it is a month to honor the women across the nation/PLANET who are living it up, being just that, RUGGED AND ELEGANT!

I am looking for you, the one who OWNS who she is, what she does, and her body! I believe our body is where our living spirit resides...and that is beauty right there, especially when you honor your body exactly how it is today...no more falling into society's media mess of fake photos...own it, real bodies, real women, real lives!

I can't wait to show you the pics I have already recieved!!
The stories that have come with them are just as powerful!

yay!!

do you have a DREAM? 2 quick thoughts for today

Today I find myself wanting to write about lots of things that I have been experiencing lately.

I broke it down to 2 simple thoughts for today.

I have written before how being an Entrepreneur is an amazing journey, you REALLY have to be committed to stick it out through all the hi high's and lo low's...it is a test of will, belief, perseverance and tenacity. The ultimate test is how to believe when maybe not all the 'signs' seem to be saying 'YES' to you.

Again, I am gonna quote another amazing speaker I heard this week (this is fun for me to pass it on!) : "You can have a list of goals that you are working on and achieving BUT do you dare to have a DREAM?" -John Leslie Brown

This little question rattled my cage! Being a self professed 'goal setter' I was challenged by this very question....do I dare to DREAM? whoah. Am I living, being, and moving toward a bigger DREAM, or just staying focused with my head down on the next goal?

I am still marinating on that one....I love it so much.

My other thought provoker of the day:
Next time you consider what you are being paid per hour, think about this concept in regards to being paid per hour:
"Your focus should be instead of getting paid by the hour....you get paid by the VALUE you bring to the hour"-John Leslie Brown

I will posting some NEW PRESS and how ZsuZsi athletes are doing next post.

How to know when it is time to move on

SOOOO you are probably wandering why I have chosen this cute photo of a glass of milk and cookies? I will tell you why.

First a glass of milk and cookies represents to me comfort food. Ahhhh....love sitting down to this little delight. (I am a fitness person with a few vices, this is one of them) but sometimes that comfort food gets in the way of my true goals and intentions of staying at a peak performance weight and keeping my body fed of high octane fuel for my engine!

For today, I decided to continue to review my notes from Les Brown's class and I found a quote: "when it is time to move on, and you don't, then life will move on you".

Seriously, isn't that true? Yup, it is.
When you are stuck, or know you are doing and or being something that doesn't resonate with your soul (like a career path you are currently in that you don't love, or continuing to try to make something work, when it just isn't...forcing it)....if you really watch what happens....LIFE will move in if you don't take the initiative to move yourself.

When LIFE moves in, then you must respond, because most of the time, if LIFE hadn't moved in, and the situation did not receive a curve ball, you would have stayed stuck....good example, getting let go of a job you just didn't like...but you did it for the money, or it used to serve you, and maybe you changed, and it just became something you loathed instead of something you loved.

When life happens, the immediate question that comes to my mind is, now what?
If you can BREATHE for a second, and start to look for the gems in the situation...
Now is an opportunity to step aside and become aware and examine what is next for you. A time to reflect on the new possibilities that are here, reach inside and find your passion, and take a new path...a fork in the road has arrived...how fun!

This means change and adventure! A lot of peeps are afraid of change...but if you have the attitude that change is good for the growth of "me"...then hipp hipp hooray!
